a) INSIGHT - Radio Talk Show

“INSIGHT” the Nations premier “Self Help” radio talk show based in Los Angeles on KRLA.  In its 5th year this two hour show broadcasted live once a week to 4 MILLION HOUSEHOLDS and is heard 24 hours a day 7 days per week nationwide and worldwide (62 countries last month) at www.bradleyquick.com.  The radio show carries a message of positive change, recovery, motivation and life enhancement. Celebrity guests, Authors and the nations top Recovery, Transition and Life Enhancement Specialists are interviewed and interact with on-air callers and listeners who desire to participate in recovery processes for their own individual positive change.  On the radio show we have featured many internationally renowned celebrities and experts such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Melody Beattie, John Bradshaw and many others. Listeners are also introduced to many outside assistance opportunities and professionals.  INSIGHT radio is where people go to hear about solutions.  Since June 2002 on KRLA – our two hour show airs 1 night per week with airtime cost of $1,000 per week ($52,000 per year airtime only). To keep the show on the air and to begin preparing it for national syndication we estimate an additional $2,850 in cost weekly.  Advertising will offset this cost considerably. With these additional monies we can increase the value of production and create a larger footprint. 

NOTE:  We are currently in talks with 3 different National Radio Networks regarding national syndication of the radio show.  Because of the quality of the shows topics and guests, with the addition of the right sponsors, any one of these networks will syndicate the show nationally.

b) INSIGHT (It’s only a mistake if you don’t learn from it) - Book

The goal is to secure broader distribution.  $137,500 will produce 25,000 units at $5.50 each (each includes the Positive Chat Power CD).  An additional $150,000 for initial promotion will allow the INSIGHT process to be publicly utilized and recognized.  Total needed for “Book Launch” and promotion: $287,500.  Dec 2007 Internatioal Book Release (Trafford Publishing) Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders Books. 

c) INSIGHT - Positive Chat Power CD Series

Our INSIGHT processes are supported by guided meditation “Positive Chat Power" CD’s, which enhance, then solidify the positive behaviors that are part of the solution. The Positive Chat Power recorded suggestions are building blocks to making permanent changes. These positive building blocks improve self-esteem, acceptance of self and others and will provide each participant with relaxation techniques, confidence and much more. 

The cost of producing each CD title is $5,000.  Duplication is approx $1.75 each with case and insert.  $50,000 for initial launch, promotion and advertising will allow the Positive Chat Power process to be publicly utilized and recognized

On the websites can be found lots of information about the INSIGHT process for positive change, the history of our founder and other resources for personal development.  All INSIGHT radio shows (formally The Bradley Quick Experience) are also archived on our website and are listened to again and again by people all over the world.  We’re currently getting about 100,000 hits a month from all over the USA and 62 different countries.  Every month over 4.5 million Kbytes of information are download.  We’re influencing many through our current and past efforts

e) “Cool Change LIVE” Recovery Benefit Concert & Expo

Our first "Cool Change Live" Recovery Benefit Concert & Expo was at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, Thursday, June 1, 2006.  We featured world renowned recording artists Spyro Gyra and Marc Antoine. This life changing event was hosted by KRLA radio’s Bradley Quick (INSIGHT with Bradley Quick) and MC Comedian - Paul Gilmartin (co-host Friday nights TBS' Dinner and a Movie). 

This event was a total success with over 1,200 in attendance.  This inspired evening was possible by the generous support of our honorary chair John Bradshaw and the following sponsors/donors: Fred Segal, Universal Home Entertainment, KRLA 870AM, L.I.F.T., Hythiam, Intervention911.com, Oasis Treatment Center, Danny Sheridan, D.A.R.S, Southwest Counseling, David Lizerbram & Associates, National Promotions & Advertising, The Pat Moore Foundation, The Learning Source, 12 Angels, Steps for Recovery, Promotion in Motion, Casa de las Amigas, Bishop Gooden Home, Linking Human Systems, Milestone Ranch Malibu, The Salvation Army, Promotion in Motion, and Footwork PR & Marketing (Susan Bredeau).

There are currently 28 large recovery conferences per year in this country and at each you'll find industry pitching industry, recovery pitching recovery!  Great continuing education and networking opportunities but the public at large is being left out.  The task of the Cool Change LIVE series specifically is to remove the recovery stigma and help the public; parents, families, teens and children find health and fight substance abuse through recovery (life enhancement) awareness 

f) L.I.F.T. - Living Intelligently For Today   (liftonline.net)

LIFT is a program that specifically brings the message to middle school and high school students in a way they will listen.  We produce numerous series of concerts at the public schools. National recording artists donate their performances and give an honest testimonial to focusing on positive lifestyles free from gangs, drugs and other destructive behavioral choices. Each concert exposes between 1,000 and 5,000 kids to a real concert experience with a strong and valuable message from those they admire. We are currently producing 100-250 LIFT concerts per year, exposing more than a million kids to the program. We make the program available to every school (without any charge) so it is produced in inner-city areas as well as affluent ones.

g) INSIGHT - A Weekly Self-help Reality Show for Television

INSIGHT, a lifestyle series - is focused around 15 individual substance abusers desiring to change their lives for the better.  This unscripted self–help enlightenment reality series depicts real life emotional, spiritual and physical recovery from seeming hopeless states of body and mind.  Cameras follow our participants through the daily INSIGHT process and routine.  Self-confrontation is inevitable in this series.  The audience watches first hand as real people confront their hidden barriers, fears, angers and resentments while engaged in positive action to uncover discover and discard their past and embrace the INSIGHT process for positive change and a positive lifestyle.  This series allows the audience to “get inside" watch, feel and relate to the “common" destructive demons, feelings and emotions that plaque the lives and relationships of our participants.  Aside from viewing the most intimate moments of recovery the audience will also be witness to the positive changes that can and will occur in life and relationships by simply adopting and following a positive method of living.

INSIGHT – TV talk show.  Bradley Quick brings his popular Los Angeles KRLA radio talk show INSIGHT to TV.  The guests are experts, and/or celebrities in recovery. The subject is recovery from drugs, alcohol, sex addiction and various other behavioral disorders. INSIGHT – TV talk show- Production costs - $50,000 per episode.

i) INSIGHT Purpose, Power, Motivation - Seminar

The INSIGHT - Purpose, Power, Motivation seminar series is currently presented in Schools, Treatment Centers, Businesses, on Campuses, and in Correction faculties. The distinct advantage and appeal of this presentation is “identification through association" and its ability to positively affect people before they sabotage their lives further. The INSIGHT seminar restores individuals to a higher state through association and self-awareness. The non-intrusive methodology of this presentation allows individuals to regain their focus, productivity, intent, morals and well being. This innovative process offers methods and behaviors for coping and recovery that give participants solutions for dealing with life’s issues other than with chemicals and destructive behaviors. Participants find inner peace, interest, willingness and the ambition to take control of their Health, Wellbeing and Obligations.

The Cool Change Foundation had a one year pilot program contract pending with the LA County Sheriff’s Dept.  We didn’t make their budget. Our goal is to gain long term multi year INSIGHT programs not only for the LA County Sheriffs Dept but in all Jails and Correctional Facilities desiring to rehabilitate inmates.  Potential number of people that will benefit through the INSIGHT seminar series is staggering.   See attached LA County Sheriffs Dept Proposal

j)  INSIGHT – Transitional Living Environments

For those coming directly out of rehabilitation and/or for those that would just feel more comfortable getting out of their environment while making the transition to a better way of living we will offer “structured living" in our Transitional Living Environments.  These homes will be located in residential neighborhoods and will have a daily agenda of One on One Meetings, Groups, stretching, meditation, Mind Skill Exercises, Creating Inner Desire, Enhancing Confidence, Inspiring Motivation, Problem / Solution Alternatives, Positive Efforts, Daily Personal Schedules, Affirmations, Mental and Physical Exercises, and Nutritional Guidance.

Our goal is to equip program residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to be emotionally, spiritually, and physically self-sufficient and to empower them to successfully transition to their community when that occurs. TLE is a Real Estate Development and Equity program.  Shortly after commencing these TLE’s they will each be (self supporting) Client, State and Federally funded.   Start up cost will be $2 mil to $6 mil depending on programming, geographical real estate markets and number of units of implementation.  Start up includes:  a) real estate investment(s) b) furniture c) staff d) license e) insurance f) debt service.

This project will become self-supporting during year 2.  This will occur as a direct result of radio advertising revenue, website subscribers, book sales, in-patient/out patient residential treatment fees, corporate retainers, consulting and speaking fees and the TV series.

We have a Non Threatening Alternative to traditional methods of treating the problem of Substance Abuse and Behavioral Disorders that applies to, and can be related to, by many more people than any methods available today,

3. Why should this project be funded?  What is the basis for optimism that this project can address the problem successfully?
This process has achieved success on a small scale and funding is needed to expand the reach of the process. 

The fact is that any group of people, from the same or similar backgrounds, has a much better ability to communicate effectively about their similarities.  As in people with cancer or who served in a particular war, lived in the same community etc.  The founder has been down the road of substance and behavioral abuses (see www.bradleyquick.com My Experience) and has been free from a seemingly hopeless state of body and mind since 1987 using these principles.

With the proper financial backing and support there is no reason why this Process, Workbook, Treatment Facility and Method of Delivery can’t be the most effective tool of its kind ever developed.  We can and will help thousands and millions of people while at the same time becoming the preferred method of recovery in this the new millennium

Implementation Risks and Challenges

1.   The only risk is Small Scale Implementation.  Our inability to expand and reach a wide enough audience. 

2.   This project will continue to succeed.  The only question is, how fast?  Expansion   “Break Out” Capital and Cash Flow is all that is needed to insure optimum results reaching the most people.

3.   The Cool Change Foundation through grants, sponsorship and merchandising, will acquire the funding necessary to expand and reach the larger, waiting audience of afflicted.
