They talk about the use of a 3-week Matrix Purification Program that works to address the acute food addiction and the emotional issues surrounding the need to eat more than needed. “We don’t mandate the emotional component but have found through years of research that long-term success is not obtained without understanding the emotional cause. We ask a few basic questions to identify the physiological problem for example Do you eat any processed foods?, Do you eat non-organic fruits and vegetables? Do you eat meat and poultry that is not free range? Do you use artificial sweeteners? Do you drink soda? Do you eat out regularly? Is coffee a regular part of your diet? Is weight control an issue? Are you fatigued? Do you have difficulty getting or staying asleep? Is your libido low?” Find out what protocols they use for sexual enhancement? Find out if the therapy is the same or different for men and woman?
They use a process called emotional repolarization. It involves testing inner relationships with people and situations that may be stored in a persons subconscious mind and tend to interfere with their perception of reality.

”Research was conducted in which it was found that when people are upset, they start eating more in order to combat their emotional disturbance”. The research conclude that obesity is some place connected with emotion also. A person who always think positive is more healthy and active mentally and physically as compared to another person. Eating continuously makes them forget the negative emotions that come into their minds. So, people tend to eat more when they are anxious, sad, upset, stressed out or even bored. But when they eat so much, and get fat they get depressed about their body. This again leads to eating more to combat the stressful situation - hence forming a vicious cycle. Stress is found to be a major reason behind obesity. A person who is emotionally healthy will be physically healthy as well. Obesity represents a complex relationship with mental well-being. So we should take care of our health and think positive always to avoid overeating and obesity.

That’s right, they say you can fix your cravings with drugs! On the heels of a five-year boom in weight-loss surgeries, researchers are observing an unusual phenomenon: Some patients stop overeating — but wind up acquiring new compulsive disorders such as alcoholism, gambling addiction or compulsive shopping. Awareness of the issue is just beginning to surface. Some bariatric-surgery centers say they are starting to counsel patients about the issue. Substance-abuse centers, including the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif, say they are seeing more bariatric-surgery patients checking in for help with new addictions. And alcohol use has become a topic of discussion on bariatric-surgery-support sites, such as Weight Loss Surgery Center,
