Dr. Joe Cruse is an oncologist-surgeon, an Addiction Medicine specialist, author, and lecturer. He’s the Founding Medical Director of The Betty Ford Centre at the Eisenhower Medical Centre in Rancho Mirage, California. He also served as president of the Medical Staff at Eisenhower. He served 8 years on the Governor’s Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board for the state of California and 12 years on the California Medical Association’s Impaired Physicians Help Committee. Joe has served as a consultant to industry, school systems, hospitals, treatment centres and universities. He has appeared on “60 Minutes”, “Good Morning America”, and the “Late Night Show” on NBC. He has been featured in magazines and newspapers in the U.S. and Australia. Joe has authored or co-authored books, booklets, teaching videos, and professional papers.
